My 2009 iMac has been running slow is fine for basic things, but for trying to render video it takes forever. (\maybe about an hour and a half for 3 minutes.)
Anyways, long story short, I bought a used ASUS ROG laptop from Newegg, because I couldn’t justify spending the extra money for a MacBook pro, let alone a refurbished one. The other day I finished the El Capitan installer download and have it on the usb drive.
I’ve been following the installation instructions, and I get to the disk utility part, and when I go to erase the partition that I want El Capitan on, it says it’s done/error, the partition is formatted for mac but somehow becomes full al of a sudden. I tried the same thing with another partition and it basically did the same thing, but I as able to get it back so Windows was able to recognize it.
I still have the one partition that’s basically full that’s Mac Formatted. Since it’s formatted for mac it won’t show up in windows
Is there a terminal command I can use to fix this problem?
